Free pizza #10!

This afternoon we enjoyed our tenth free pizza of the Reds season. This free pizza was
courtesy of last Sunday's dramatic 3-2 extra innings win against the Padres.

Last season, there were 13 total "pizza for strikeouts" games where the Reds pitchers
struck out 11 or more batters. According to the AP's Dan Sewell, LaRosa's has already
given 190,000 pizzas in 19 "pizza for strikeouts" games so far this season with nearly
2 dozen Reds home games left. And that adds up to over a half-million-dollars' worth of
pizza so far this year. I certainly hope they can afford to keep this promotion going for
many more seasons to come because free pizza tastes awesome!

We're going to the games on Monday, Wednesday and Sunday so maybe we'll be there
when LaRosa's gives away their 20th free pizza of the this Reds season! :)

Back on Opening Day, the Reds pitchers combined to strikeout 13 Pirates. And lucky for us, LaRosa's is once again doing their #Ks4LaRosas promotion this season!

You know the deal... Every time Reds pitchers combine for 11 strikeouts, every person with a ticket gets a free one topping pizza from LaRosa's starting the next day. Yesterday, we got our tickets ticked for our first free LaRosa's pizza of this Reds baseball season...

Tonight, we warmed pizzas up in the oven. And free makes LaRosa's pizza taste even more delicious! I hope we get enough free pizzas to break our record of 11 free pizzas in 2013!

Just our fourth free LaRosa's pizza of this Reds season thanks to #Ks4LaRosa's. 29 Reds games so far this season and just 4 free pizzas. Last season, we went to 35 games total and had 13 free pizzas. :/

Reds baseball game #7!

Yep. We did it again! This was our fifth game of this ten game home stand, and our fifth
game in the last seven days! This time we walked down to see the Reds play the Cubbies.

We were just two strikeouts away from getting our third free pizza of the season...

Joey Votto singled in the ninth to send the game into extra innings knotted at two.

And with that, we were out. The Reds and Cubs played a 13 inning game last night that
didn't get over until midnight. So it was time to go watch the rest of the game on TV.
The Cubs ended up winning 4-2 in the tenth. But it was another great game! And we
got our third free pizza of this young season. We got four free pizzas all of last year.
So to be on three in just the first month of the season is really pretty awesome.

Free LaRosa's pizza #2!

Apparently, the Reds pitchers struck out 11 batters at last weekend's dreadful Sunday
Night Baseball 4-0 loss against the hint birds. So this evening, we redeemed those Reds
tickets for our second free LaRosa's pizza of this season. I started off with a BLT salad...

TIME FOR FREE PIZZA! Genifer ordered up some mushrooms and onions free pizza...

I ordered sausage and green olives on my free pizza!

Free pizza #1!

Tonight, we went and redeemed our first set of tickets for free LaRosa's pizza! Everytime
Reds pitchers combine for 11 strikeouts in a home game, everyone in attendance can redeem
their tickets for a personal pizza with up to four toppings! These pizzas are from Tuesdays
game, and we got more free pizzas from Sunday's game! That's a lot of delicious pizza!



Maybe we'll get more free pizza when we go to the game on Tuesday! :)

#Dominono's.

We were lucky enough to snag one of the free medium two-topping pizzas from Domino's
and MLB.com thanks to the #DominoNo hitter thrown by Clayton Kershaw last week. We
couldn't even begin to fathom a guess when we last had a pizza from Domino's. I know I
haven't had one since I've lived in Cincinnati. That pushes me back a good ten years. So
needless to say, it's been a while. Tonight, we cashed in on that free #DominoNo's pizza.
And tried a few of Domino's other offerings.

It didn't seem like that much food when we were ordering it.

This is their cheesy bread. It was a lot cheesier than it looked...

Spicy Jalapeno-Pineapple specialty chicken. Very spicy but also very tasty...

Very tasty stuff! And we got a Supreme Feast pizza...

It was very good as well. Even though there wasn't any sauce on the pizza.

We would definitely order more pizzas from Domino's. I think I might have developed
a craving for that Spicy Jalapeno-Pineapple specialty chicken. Tasty, tasty stuff!

Reds baseball game #12!

This evening we returned to GABP to watch the Reds take on the Cleveland Indians.


Reds shortstop Zack Cozart has been on fire lately...

He went 3-5 tonight. He's hit safely in 9 of his late 11 games, and is batting .340 over
those games after hitting a measly .186 in the previous 11 games. Simply en fuego.
And speaking of en fuego, don't even get me started on Joey Votto...

He's been putting up ridiculous XBox/Playstation numbers in the month of May...
