Reds baseball game #32!

The Reds actually won when we were at a game again! They beat the whiny birds 4-2!
Reds win!
Alfredo Simon threw 7 innings of 2 run 5 hit ball to power the Reds to the win!
More photos to come soon! :)

Metrobot!

Metrobot was unveiled this morning outside the CAC at the corner of Sixth & Walnut...

Metrobot is the new arts ambassador of Cincinnati. There's always something new and
interesting downtown. Taken with Instagram. :)

Right player. Wong team. Yep, we brought jokes with us tonight. :/ In the sixth, we went
down to Mr. Reds Smokehouse to get a pulled pork sammich and some sides...

And while we were out in right, the wheel came off the wagon for the Reds. The whiny
birds scored two runs and then added three more the next inning...

And that's how the game would end, 5-0 to the whiny birds. :/

It's that time again...

Constructing Cincinnati.

They started demolition on the parking garage across from our building on Seventh Street.
At 6:15am this morning. :/

From what I've read, the parking garage is will become a six-story, 117-room downtown
Holiday Inn. And the old American Red Cross building next to it will be coming down to
make way for a seven-level 725-spot parking garage. Because you can never have too
many parking spots. And it's not like there are two huge surface parking lots opposite
the new developments right on the other side of Sycamore Street. :/

Are you ready for some football?

We stopped into Rock Bottom Brewery to watch a bit of the first Sunday Night Football
game of the season between the Indy Andrew Lucks and the Denver Peyton Mannings.
It wasn't a good weekend for us in terms of our football teams. The Pats got thumped,
so did the Cowboys and the Bears lost too. And Michigan got killed yesterday. Yet, the
Bengals pulled out a win in their game. :/ What the heck? Come to find out that Rock
Bottom had a special going on to welcome back the first Sunday of football. A pint of
one of their awesome beers and a half order of nachos for just &6.95. So ye-ah...

You can't beat that! It came really close to making the first Sunday of football all better. :)

Lytle Park
There was a huge moon rising over Lytle Park this evening in downtown Cincinnati. :)

Seen and noted.

We saw this older gentleman standing in the last rays of the evening sunlight admiring
the long shadow he cast across Sycamore Street...

Crave Sunday brunch.

This morning we walked down to Crave America in The Banks to gorge ourselves on
their Sunday brunch. We had a Groupon, and today was the last day before it expired...

Look at all that delicious bacon...

And there were omelets and french toast and desserts. We left stuffed to the gills. I'm
not usually a huge fans of buffets. I don't ever feel like I can eat enough to get all my
money's worth. But with the Groupon, it was an incredible value. Delicious stuff. :)

Pause for paws.

Milan and Oscar got some new dog toys this evening...

To say they've been enjoying them might be the understatement of the year. :)

Good evening.
