The Penguin.

We were really tinkering with the notion of going to see The Features at the Taft Theatre
Ballroom tonight. But we ended up dragging our feet too long. And we couldn't get our act
together. So we went back to The Penguin Dueling Piano Bar to listen to some live music
and have a couple of drinks instead.





The Penguin is always fun. Especially on Fridays. :)

Low-key weekend.

It was really cold and snowy outside and as a result, we had a pretty low-key weekend.
On Saturday night, we walked over to the Penguin Dueling Piano Bar. And on the way
over there, we couldn't believe the number of people waiting in line to go ice skating
on Fountain Square. The line went all the way back past the fountain...

The Penguin is always fun on a Saturday night...




And on Sunday, all we did was watch a bit of football at Rock Bottom...



Sometimes it's nice to have a low-key weekend where we just lay around...

And the only thing to show for your weekend are just a handful of kinda blurry of photos.
It doesn't happen very often in downtown Cincinnati. :)

The Penguin.

We went to The Penguin Dueling Piano Bar for some dueling piano action and the place was
packed with Marines. They were a pretty fun group and made a fun night pretty amusing.


Apparently, there was a Marine's Ball in downtown Cincinnati earlier in the evening.

Friday night.

This evening we meet our friends Cory and Amy at Crave for dinner...

Then we stopped in for a drink at Jimmy's Steakhouse on Elm Street...

And then we hung out at The Penguin Dueling Piano Bar...

It was a really fun Friday night. :)

We met up with Cleve and Alyssa downtown and we all decided to try another place we've
never been to before, The Penguin Dueling Piano Bar. Remember Fat Cats? Yeah, that place
was fun. Hopefully, it'll be like that only still open. Let's go...




Really fun night. We'll definitely be back.

Happy New Year's Eve!

We had so much fun on Friday night that tonight we decided to usher in the new year by
heading back The Penguin Dueling Piano Bar. We walked through an extremely packed
Fountain Square which was looking as festive as always...

And now on to the NYE festivities...

Birthday celebration!

This evening we went out to celebrate Genifer's birthday! Gretchen and Martin came over.
And Martin did Genifer's make-up before we headed out...


Then we headed across downtown to The Penguin Dueling Piano Bar...




Our friend Amy showed up too...
