We've been dragging all day thanks in large part to Monday night's 15-inning Reds win
and last night's Cyclones playoff loss. :(

Their stuff is like never-ending deliciousness and it's so very reasonable.

After the 4EG Happy Hour, we were walking and decided to stop at the recently reopened
Shanghai Mama's to grab a little carry-out bite to eat. It's like visiting old friends.



Apparently, we ordered a ton of food...



We ordered some Mama Tso's Spicy Chicken...

Some Szechuan Chicken Flatbread...


And a couple of egg rolls...

Not pictured was a side salad that I forgot to take a photo of. But we got all this
delicious food for just over $20. And everything we ordered we absolutely delicious.
My mouth was on fire for a bit after the Mama Tso's but I didn't mind. Great stuff!
Welcome back Shanghai Mama's. We missed you. A lot!

Shanghai Mama's has REOPENED after a fire gutted the joint back in October.

It's so good to have them back in the neighborhood. I can't wait to eat there again.
Oh, how I've missed you, Szechuan Chicken flatbread.

When Milan were walking this morning, we noticed a lot of commotion on Sixth Street.
There were flashing lights of police cars and it looked like there may have been a fire
truck or two. Come to find out that sometime this morning, Shanghai Mama's had a fire
that started somewhere around their bar area, and ripped through the joint causing
hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of damage. I walked over to take a peek and
the entire block of Sixth Street between Main and Sycamore reeked of smoke.

I hope they bounce back from this tragedy, and emerge from the ashes better than ever.

Tonight, I got carry-out from Shanghai Mama's for dinner...

Cashew chicken and szechuan chicken flatbread. Superyum FTW!

Other than eating this delicious feast, I didn't do much. I watched part of the Reds game
and part of game one of the NBA Finals, and didn't see the end of either one because I had
crashed out.
