Canstruction 2015.

We stumbled across another one of the 2015 Canstruction exhibits. This one was in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency downtown. And recreated some of Charley Harper's famous bird artwork...




Pretty neat stuff. It's amazing what people can create with just a bunch of cans. :)

The 2015 Canstruction has begun.

Walking home from work this evening, I couldn't help but that construction of this year's Canstruction was underway at Weston Art Gallery...


I'm already really digging the R2D2 made of cans! I can't wait to check out all the other Canstructions around downtown Cincinnati. :)

Canstruction, part four.

I found a couple more Canstruction exhibits when I wandered out to get lunch today.
This one in the lobby of the Aronoff Center is called "We're not in CANsas Anymore"...


And I finally found a complete venue list at the Aronoff Center...

Just two days before the Canstruction is set to end. :/ Thankfully, I was able to stumble
across a lot of the exhibit locations on my own. :) I wandered over to Contemporary Arts
Center to check out the Canstruction exhibit there...

"Get a Handle on Hunger..."


And then I headed down the block to Center at 600 Vine...

"Rise Above Hunger..."



Really cool stuff. I've made it to all but one of the Canstruction locations. I saw the exhibits
at Weston Art Gallery. And the ones at the Main Library. And at the Hyatt. And now these
ones. Not too shabby. And there were a lot of really cool exhibits. :)

Chichow! part two & Canstruction, part three.

We wanted a couple more pints of the delicious Chickow! from Triple Digit Brewery so
we headed back to Red Rosst Tavern. On the way in, there was another Canstruction
on display. Hunger is Wicked...





Great beers! Genifer had her Quinoa salad again. And I had this amazing Irish burger...

On my way back to the office with lunch, I stopped in the main branch of the library to take
a look at some more Canstruction exhibits. First up was Out to Minion-mize Hunger...



And Power Up to Fight Hunger...
