For the first, second, third fourth time this week, we got another dose of the cold, white stuff dropped on us. We're still nowhere near the snomageddon that the northeast has been enduring. I'm just saying I think it's odd that we've gone all winter without any snow, and then we get snow dumped on us four times in one week. At least, we don't have to drive in this mess...
Genifer wanted to look at a new winter coat that was on sale at Macy's...
Then we walked through what's left of the downtown Skywalk...
And went to Red Roost Tavern for lunch...
Look at the size of those snowflakes...
It's a winter wonderland. :)
This evening we ventured back across the river to Fort Thomas, Kentucky to check out the Lenten fish fry over at St. Thomas...
Genifer had just a fish sammich...
I got a fish dinner set-up with macaroni and cole slaw...
That macaroni was definitely worth the trip alone. The fish was deliciously tasty, really very good and not greasy at all. However, it was very oddly shaped. Little cubes that at first glance we thought were hush puppies not fish. But still, it was very tasty stuff. The coleslaw was good too. I'm not a huge fan of coleslaw. But we finished the whole thing. And like I said, the macaroni was just out of this world.
Next week, we'll try another fish fry. :)
We got a couple more inches of snow in downtown Cincinnati overnight...
Oscar does not care for the snow. Not one bit...
I don't know how they're doing it out in Boston. The little bit of snow we've been getting is nothing compared to the onslaught they've been getting. :/
Pitchers and catchers report to Spring Training today!
Hooray! Baseball is finally back! We can't wait to head out to Spring Training in Goodyear next month! :)
