Madeira's Street Dance & Family Fest.

This evening we headed out to the 'burbs to hang out with our friends Cory and Amy at the Street Dance & Family Fest in Madeira. After parking the car, this little guy kept telling me to run in the opposite direction. Was it an sign? Maybe. We'd never been to a street festival in Madeira before. Heck, I don't think I've done anything in Madeira before. Suburban activities kind of freak me out a bit anymore.

What we couldn't get over was just how cheap everything was. Beers were just $3 and food was even cheaper...

At stuff like this downtown beers are at least $5, usually $6...

They completely ran out of beer around 9pm...

And it was time to go.

We got a couple of hot dogs and a burger on the way out for just $6.50...

Ok the list of things I forgot to do was take a photo of all of us together. And take a photo of Cory and Amy's ridiculous cute twins. In my defense, I was too busy playing with their adorable little baby feets. :)

It was pretty fun to wander around the festival a bit. And Madeira seems like a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. I just really love my downtown. :)
