Urban vegetables.

When we were walking the dogs to Fido Field this evening, we walked by the little urban
vegetable garden. We finally figured out what the really tall plants are, Sunflowers!

And check out these watermelons...


We noticed that there was corn literally falling off the stalks. No one else must be picking
the vegetables, or at least picking them with any frequency. So I picked them. We picked
seven ears of corn, one big yellow squash and a little hungarian hot pepper...



YUM! I can't wait to cook up some corn on the cob! :)
