because we had tickets to go see the Reds play the Illadelphia Illies. But as soon as I got
done with work, a storm started to blow in. It got all grey and windy and started sprinkling.
We just barely got home from our dog walk before it started pouring buckets. We sat around
and waited and waited and waited... Finally at 8:15, we heard the game was going to start at
8:30pm. We grabbed our umbrellas, a hand towel to wipe off our seats and walked down to the
ballpark to see if we could catch a bit of the game before it inevitably started pouring again...
Oh, and it was Bark in the Park night...
They changed all of the Phillies player photos to cats...
It started sprinkling again...
We headed out in the 4th inning to watch the game at home before it started pouring again.
And then in the 9th inning, the heavens opened up and the game was delayed again...
And we went to bed. Stupid rain. :/
