I was doing some research into the event to see what all it entitled...
Four great bands, a free lowland seafood boil tasting, a parade led by the newly crowned
King and Queen, OTR Biergarten with Christian Moerlein beers, Market Wines tastings...
and free beads.
Then I was looking at Findlay Market's Twitter and it was blowing up with tweets about this
event. Genifer and I thought it was going to be crazy busy packed so we decided to just catch
the tail-end of the festivities.
We were still stuffed from lunch but the Velvet Smoke BBQ smelled amazing...
We grabbed a couple of Moerlein beers and wandered into the tent to listen to some great
blues provided by the band, The Medicine Men. They had a really great sound!
Great afternoon. We're really happy we stopped by to check out Mardi Gras at the Market.
