LET'S PLAY HOCKEY!!!
And five minutes into the game was the first fight...
At the beginning of the second period, it was 1-0 Chicago.
And in the second was one of the craziest fights I've ever seen. It seemed like every
player on the ice was involved in the squirmish including both of the net-minders.
It was $1 pizza, hot dog and soda night so I got us some snacks...
US Bank Arena was packed. It looked like a playoff crowd!
At the end of regulation, it was 2-2! EXTRA HOCKEY!
And it remained knotted at 2 through the five minute extra period. SHOOT OUT!!!
The Cyclones lost 3-2 in the shoot out. But it's amazing to have hockey back in Cincinnati!
It's been far too long. :)
