A Streetcar? In Cincinnati?

I saw a post on UrbanCincy that the city will be displaying the first modern streetcar
built in the United States since the 1930's. Cincinnati is continuing to build support
for a streetcar system to call it's own. Cincinnati is modeling their plans after the
largely successful streetcar system which began operating in Portland back in 2001.

I'm going to Portland for Christmas. I can't wait to take a look at their streetcar.

  1. Awesome pics!

I loved the Portland streetcar system - super handy and ton cheaper than cabs!

  2. Thanks!

I've never been to Portland. So I can't wait to see
their streetcar. But I absolutely love Boston's mass
transit system, which I believe uses streetcars too!

  3. Shannon and I will have to come visit when the street car is finished and see some new parts of the city!
