Monday, December 23

We finally got to eat something.

After wandering around OtR for a while, we stopped a Palomino for a snack.
Who knew that Palomino had amazing deviled eggs?

My buddy, Chuck and I headed to Palomino to grab a bite to eat and watch a bit of the
Final Four game before heading down to Great American Ball Park for Opening Night.

They now have happy hour all day, every day. We had some beers and calamari, crab
and artichoke dip and four cheese pizza with roasted red peppers. SuperYum!

And I became the Mayor of Palomino on Foursquare!
Now, I'm the mayor of 12 14 places in downtown Cincinnati!

Baseball game #26!

I was kinda dreading this early afternoon ballgame, the rubber game of the Cubs-Reds
series. I had a really bad feeling that it was gonna be a scorcher.
GABP
Being a really hot afternoon, could I get random mascots wandering around the ballpark?

Awesome! The game wasn't nearly as crowded as last night. And everyone was moving to
get out of the sun. My parents and I moved up a few rows up so we could sit in the shade.
GABP
There was also a wonderful breeze blowing in off the river. And it wasn't that bad.

But this game belonged to the Redlegs. They took two out of three to win the series.
GABP
It was great to watch the whole Cubs-Reds series. It was weird watch your two favorite
teams play each other though. But I'm happy that the Reds stretched their lead over the
Cardinals to 5 games!

After the ballgame, we went and had a bite to eat at Palomino. SuperYum!

What a great weekend of baseball!
