My name is Thadd. It's an unusual name, I know.
I was named after a 1970s TV western hero. Not many people were named after a TV
western, especially one from the 70s. I'm originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan. And
very proud of the fact that I'm from the Mitten. Now, I live in downtown Cincinnati with
my girlfriend, Genifer, our dogs, Milan and Oscar and my cat, Svensk. I love photography
and looove taking photos of all our adventures in Cincinnati. I also enjoy drawling,
collecting finger puppets and eating sammiches. And of course, I love posting to
my blog, which I do... a lot. :P
I'm a senior designer who specializes in brand identity, packaging and illustration.
I also do freelance photography for an ever-growing stable of clients in downtown
Cincinnati. And I've had photos published in five different books of photography.
The goal of my blog is to showcase all of the fun activities that downtown Cincinnati
has to offer. I want to make you feel that you are right here enjoying Cincinnati with us.
Speaking of downtown, I'm in love with downtown Cincinnati. It's the most wonderful
90-ish square block little urban environment you could ever hope for. Anymore, I couldn't
imagine living and working anywhere else other than in an urban environment.
I love it here. And have the photos to prove it.
I also love sports. A lot. I love soccer [Arsenal, Barcelona, AC Milan, Man City] and baseball
[Cincinnati Reds, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants] and basketball
[Boston Celtics, Xavier Muskateers] and college football [Michigan Wolverines] and hockey
[Cincinnati Cyclones].
